I-REC Certificate with international validity is issued for users whose application is completed.
RER-G Certificate is issued through the system for users whose applications are completed.
For users whose I-REC and RER-G Certificate Applications are completed, CK Energy prepares special certificates for you to display in your business.
Developed by RECs International, I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) is an international certification system that certifies that electricity is generated from renewable energy sources.
A certificate is issued for every 1 MWh of electricity generated in renewable energy facilities (solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and biomass).
Renewable Energy Certificates are widely used in developed countries to promote renewable energy investments and consumption. This system, which ensures that each unit of electricity generated is tracked starting from its source and traced to the end consumer, contributes to consumers making an informed and reliable choice.
Generation facilities that fulfill certain requirements to become I-REC holders can obtain renewable energy certificates corresponding to their production by registering in the database created by I-REC, and electricity generation or sales companies can have the right to sell these certificates separately from electricity.
CK Energy, one of these companies, supports sustainability policies by undertaking I-REC certification procedures on behalf of its consumers.
RER-G is designed by EPİAŞ to track all processes of electricity generated from the producer to the consumer by utilizing blockchain technology.
The features of each 1 MWh of renewable energy supplied to the grid by licensed generation facilities, which are included in the system on a voluntary basis, are recorded and documented.
Through the RER-G Certificate, which is the “identity card” of renewable energy, it is tracked, proven and disclosed that the energy used by end consumers is produced from renewable energy sources. Thus, the supply of electricity generated from renewable energy sources is guaranteed for consumers.
