What is the End Source Supply Tariff?


The End Source Supply Tariff is a special tariff regulation applied to subscribers with high electricity consumption. This tariff is valid for customers who exceed the consumption limits of 4,000 kWh for Residential subscribers, 15,000 kWh for Business and Industrial subscribers, 150,000,000 kWh for Agricultural Activity in the relevant calendar year.

When Were the End Source Supply Tariff Limits Updated?

The End Source Supply Tariff limits were updated with the decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) dated 31.10.2025. The new regulation will enter into force as of 01.01.2026.

01.01.2026?

Affected Calendar Year-Based Electricity Consumption Limits: Residential Subscribers: 4,000 kWh and above, Business and Industrial Subscribers: 15,000 kWh and above, Agricultural Activities and Other Consumers: Consumers consuming exceeding 150,000,000 kWh.

Where Can I Track My Consumption?


You can track your monthly energy consumption through your bills and learn your final consumption determination from your Distribution Company. If you exceed the consumption limits, you will be informed by the distribution company within the scope of the End Source Supply Tariff.

Will the End Source Supply Tariff Be Applied for All Residential Subscribers?

The End Source Supply Tariff is only applicable to users who exceed the 4,000 kWh consumption limit within the calendar year.

From Which Date Will the New Update Take Effect?

As of 1 January 2026, the new update will be applied to consumers whose consumption exceeds the set limits for 2025 or 2026.

For Example:

A residential customer whose annual consumption exceeds 4,000 kWh for the first time in October 2025 will be included in the last resort supply tariff as of January 1, 2026.

A residential customer whose annual consumption exceeds 4,000 kWh for the first time in December 2025 will be included in the last resort supply tariff as of March 1, 2026.

How Is the End Source Supply Tariff Invoice Calculated?

It is determined by a formula including market prices and renewable energy resources support mechanism costs.
ESST: MCP + RERSM Price x CDB
MCP: Market Clearing Price
RERSM: Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism
CDB: Coefficient Determined by the Board

I Have More Than One Installation. Will All My Installations Be Included in This Tariff?

No. Only your installations that exceed the limit will be billed under the End Source Supply Tariff. Your other installations will continue to be billed under the National Tariff.
