PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA FOR PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES
At CK Enerji Yatırım A.Ş.(“CK Energy” or “Company”), we show respect to the personal data we process during our operations and activities and the relevant persons, and show maximum sensitivity regarding the security of personal data within the framework of current legislation and universal values. This privacy notice has been prepared to inform our employee candidates about the Company's practices regarding the processing and protection of personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”) and related legislation. CK carries out personal data processing activities in accordance with the regulations set forth in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”). We would like to inform you about your personal data, which is provided below and processed by CK Energy, with this Privacy Notice pursuant to article 10 “Obligation of Data Controller to Inform” of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”) published in the Official Gazette issue no. 29677 on April 7, 2016, which aims to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life in the processing of personal data, as well as the the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be followed in the Fulfillment of the Disclosure Obligation published in the Official Gazette dated March 10, 2018 and numbered 30356.
In this notice;
Explicit Consent: The approval given on a specific subject, based on information and free will, in a clear manner that leaves no room for hesitation, limited only to that transaction,
Anonymization: Making personal data impossible to be associated with an identified or identifiable natural person under any circumstances, even by matching with other data,
Data Subject (Related Person): The natural person whose personal data is processed,
Personal Data: Any information related to an identified or identifiable real person,
Processing of Personal Data:: Any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether with fully or partially automatic means or non-automatic means provided to be a part of a data recording system, such as collection, recording, storing, keeping, changing, reorganizing, disclosure, transferring, taking over, making accessible, classification, or preventing from use,
Data Controller:Any real or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data and responsible for establishing and managing the data filing system.
Identity of the Data Controller: In article 3(1)(ı) of the PDPL, data controller is defined as “Any real or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data and responsible for establishing and managing the data filing system”. Pursuant to the provision of the obligation to provide information on the identity of the data controller in Article 10(1)(a) “Obligation of Data Controller to Inform” of the PDPL, the “identity of the data controller” is CK Energy, with its registered office located at Eti Mahallesi Celal Bayar Blv. No: 78/229 Çankaya/Ankara and uninterruptedly continuing with its operations, which was established to operate in social, cultural and economic fields in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Depending on the nature of the job, the Company may request special quality personal data from the employee candidate, provided that the explicit consent of the applicant employee candidate is obtained.
Processing and Purposes of Your Personal Data
Personal data is processed by CK Energy, based on one or more of the personal data processing conditions specified in articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL, in accordance with the personal data processing principles specified in article 4 of the PDPL. In all personal data processing activities carried out by CK Energy, the obligations required by all relevant legislation, especially the PDPL, Labor Law No. 4857, Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510 and Identity Notification Law No. 1774, are also acted in accordance with. Your personal data may be collected and processed by our Company within the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL and for the following purposes:
To assess the suitability of the candidate for the position when interviews are conducted via video conferencing, telephone, or in person,
To collect personality and knowledge measurement test data,
To retain information about the candidate as part of the evaluation process,
To conduct personality inventories, foreign language tests, and aptitude test evaluations for candidates progressing positively in the application process,
To evaluate the candidate through other companies within the CK Energy Group or to perform reference checks within these companies,
To verify the accuracy of the information provided by the candidate or to contact third parties for inquiries, if necessary,
To complete the records and procedures required for job admission,
To maintain communication with the candidate regarding the application and recruitment process,
To contact the candidate for other suitable positions or to refer them to other group companies for potential opportunities,
To comply with any legislative requirements or requests from authorized institutions or organizations,
To use personal data obtained through workplace security measures, such as camera recordings, as evidence in investigating suspicious activities, resolving disputes, or handling complaints,
To review the candidate’s resume, interview notes, and references, and to extend a job offer if a suitable position is identified.
Your data required for the execution of CK Energy's activities and if stipulated in the legislation may be processed for other purposes, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Provided that your personal data is anonymized, it can be processed within the scope of internal reporting and statistical studies.
In the event that you apply for disabled employees and give your explicit consent, your health data, which has the status of special quality data, is processed for the purposes of conducting employee candidate / intern / student selection and placement processes, conducting the application processes of employee candidates, conducting activities in accordance with the legislation, conducting communication activities, planning human resources processes, and is transferred to CK Energy Group and other companies in which CK Energy Group and its affiliated shareholders are limited for the purpose of evaluation by other companies within the CK Energy Group or reference research within these companies.
In case of your explicit consent, your personal data listed above will be stored for 1 years in order to contact you with your resume and interview and reference notes in order to make a job suggestion for a suitable position that may arise in the future.
Your personal data may also be transferred to physical archives and information systems and stored in both digital and physical environments.
Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Your Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through application forms published in physical or digital media, through photographs or video cameras, through resumes submitted by the employee candidate to the Company via e-mail, cargo, reference and application forms, through career platforms, human resources companies, employment or consultancy companies, through video conferencing, telephone or face-to-face interviews, through interviews in cases where face-to-face interviews are conducted, through checks to verify the accuracy of the information submitted by the employee candidate and through research conducted by the Company, through recruitment tests that determine the skills and personality traits conducted by experts and whose results are examined.
Your personal data is collected based on the explicit consent of the employee candidate in cases where it is necessary to obtain the explicit consent of the employee candidate due to the fulfillment of our legal obligations, the performance of the contract, the reasons stipulated in the laws, the legitimate interest of CK Energy, and is processed for the purpose of carrying out the abovementioned activities.
Personal data can be collected, processed and transferred for the abovementioned purposes, based on the personal data processing conditions specified in articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed.
In case you transmit personal data of third parties such as reference persons or family relatives, you are required to inform these persons in accordance with the Law and secondary legislation and, if necessary, obtain their explicit consent.
Transfer of Your Processed Personal Data
Your personal data collected in line with the realization of the above purposes may be shared with private law persons and public institutions and organizations authorized to receive information and documents from the Company in accordance with the provisions of the relevant legislation in accordance with the rules regarding the transfer of personal data specified in Article 8 of the Law within the scope of the data processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, and with the business/solution partners from which services are received in order to evaluate and process the collected data in the recruitment candidacy process.
Your personal data collected in line with the realization of the abovementioned purposes are shared with these group companies limited to the purpose of evaluation by CK Energy Group and other companies in which it is an affiliated shareholder or reference research within these companies, if you give your explicit consent.
Data Security
We attach utmost importance to protecting the confidentiality and security of all personal data processed within CK Energy. Accordingly, all reasonable technical and administrative security measures are taken to protect personal data against the risks of unauthorized access, damage, loss or disclosure.
Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
In accordance with Article 11 of the PDPL, you have the following rights regarding the protection of your personal data:

"Your application to exercise your abovementioned rights must be clear and understandable, the subject matter of your request must be related to you personally or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, you must be specifically authorized in this regard and your authorization must be documented, the application must include your name, surname, Republic of Türkiye ID number, signature, the address or e-mail address or fax number where you want to receive an answer, the date of your application and your detailed explanations regarding your request. CK Energy will finalize the application requests in accordance with Article 13 of the PDPL as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. In order for us to finalize your application, the information and documents you have submitted to us must be accurate and up-to-date, and additional information may be requested from you if deficiencies are detected regarding your application. In case the transaction requires a separate cost, however, then the fee set out by the Personal Data Protection Authority may be charged by us."
